Your Rights for Returns and Withdrawals

Your Statutory Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer within the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

  • Withdrawal Period: The withdrawal period will expire 14 days from the day on which you acquire physical possession of the goods.

  • Exercising Your Right: To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement (e.g., an email sent via the contact page on our website). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

  • Effects of Withdrawal: If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of initial delivery (except for supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us). We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw.

  • Condition of Goods: You are entitled to inspect the goods to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning, similar to how you would in a physical shop. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for this purpose.

Our Voluntary 30-Day Returns Policy

In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a voluntary and more generous returns window.

  • Policy Period: Our voluntary returns policy lasts for 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange, unless the item is faulty.

  • Eligibility for Voluntary Return (Days 15-30): To be eligible for a return under our voluntary policy (for the period between 15 and 30 days after receipt), your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original, unopened packaging.

Return and Refund Process

How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return under either your statutory right or our voluntary policy, please send us an email via the contact page on our website. We will then reply with the necessary details for your return. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on the conditions outlined above.

If your refund is approved, it will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 14 days of our receipt of the returned goods, or of you providing evidence of having sent back the goods.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Next, contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Then contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us via our contact page.

Return Shipping Costs

You will be responsible for paying for your own direct shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Faulty Goods and Legal Forms

Faulty or Non-Conforming Goods (Legal Guarantee)

The rights of withdrawal and return described above are separate from your statutory rights if an item is faulty, not as described, or otherwise not in conformity with the contract. Under EU law, you have a 2-year legal guarantee. If a product is defective, you have the right to request a repair, replacement, or, where those are not possible, a refund. In such cases, VitalAir will cover the cost of return shipping. If you believe your item is faulty, please contact us immediately.
